      I guess the missing word is one that means “austral direction”. Certainly a kill phrase for Dizzo’s real-world inspiration.

    Yeah you shouldn’t use a kill phrase when it’s the only thing keeping you from hitting a concrete floor.

    Also the glowing slime on the floor makes for some great mood lighting in the first panel.

    In this universe, I’ll say it’s actually a poorly-received musical number about overly-long words, Song of the Sesquipedalian. 😉

New Look for Willa??

Maybe I should make more blog posts.

Last week I received a pleasant surprise from my brother who informed me that many months back he commissioned the one and only Yagi the Goat to make a couple Willa pics.

No surprise, Yagi did an excellent job. I like the bigger eyes, the simplified shape of her hair, and that little bit of chest floor on the left one. I’m trying to see what elements I can incorporate into my own drawings of Willa. Here are some attempts.

As you can see there aren’t any drastic changes, but I think she looks a little nicer. Let me know what y’all think.

BTW, I talked about this on the LK Discord last week. If you’re interested in this kinda thing you might wanna check it out or my other social media sites. But even if you don’t I’ll be trying to post the occasional interesting thing over here.

Summer Vacation

I’m going to be away visiting family for the rest of the week, I hoped to have the latest Toby Town page done before I left but it looks like that’s not going to happen.

Instead, I’m going to be running the rest of The Wonder Makers storyline, so y’all can finally see what happened to Kyle, Cecili, and that wacky wardrobe. I used the bulk uploader so they should appear every day at noon, but only if someone is actually looking at the site (yeah I know, it’s stupid).

Off Week

I took work pretty slow in the month of December so I don’t have any new comics to post this week, and maybe next. Stuff will still be coming out on my Patreon though.

Yes, I know this is a bummer, but on the bright side; when the comic does come back it’s going to be the oft-hinted-at Toby Town arc!

Sorry, it’s taking me a bit of time to ramp back up post-vacation. I’m still making pages and strips but I’m holding a few back at the moment so I can release them in order in a way that will hopefully be less confusing than things have been. Rest assured I’m not going on “hiatus” or anything.
