I wanted to complain that OG shadows lore isn’t consistent with what’s shown in the comic, or even self-consistent. But then I figured the art haven’t improved in a decade and neither did the writing, so it’s to be expected.
a) What do they mean by OG?
b) Perfect consistency with what came before in long-form storytelling is overrated, and the preoccupation with it is largely a product of seeing stories as easily digestible and marketable chunks of lore rather than artwork unto themselves. *Most* stories that have been around for a long time or have been ongoing for a long time have had details change to fit as the story and setting develop, or as the inclinations of the creator (or who the creator is) has changed.
For what it’s worth, I enjoy the comic very much. It’s a fun, mostly light hearted parody of life and games and pop culture all pressed together into a very enjoyable and mostly cohesive whole.
Any inaccuracies can easily be overlooked or written off as differences of opinion between characters.
Eesh, dunno what got their proverbial panties in a bunch or when that was said, I guess criticisms are fair but for what it’s worth I’ve been a fan for a long time and appreciate the levity your stories and art have brought me over the years
