Great start to the story. Kid detectives, smugglers, and a handy vat of acid. I’ll bet a dollar to a donut hole, that one of the kids or both of the kids wind up as the jelly flesh gollum on the front page of the story.
I suspect the boy is Roger. If so, and if you’re correct, that would suggest Abigail is the jelly flesh golem.
Suspect thats Roger on the right. Acid immersion would probably justify his whole body jellyflesh transplant situation.
I mean, one of them does feature on the cover. The male sibling is Roger. (It’s the bow tie.)
