  1. I am utterly heartbroken to learn that the moon does not in fact have a face

    1. Cheer up! I am going to assert that it does indeed have a face. That face may be the result of a cognitive distortion field but it does appear to be a shared cognitive distortion between the residents of the planet and therefore is no less real than looking through a kaleidoscope will alter the perception of what you are looking at.

  2. Okay but why do our cognitive processes make it look like a face?

Very much reminded me of a Somebody Else’s Problem field. Your eyes see the thing but your brain is all like, nah. Not important. But that floaty thing that I can’t quite focus on, dang, that’s Important.

  3. Why does your artificial moon manipulate the physical forms of Werecats? Seriously, this feels like something that should be relevant to Charlotte’s interests.

    1. Well that’s the thing, we don’t know if werecat transformation are caused by this “moon” or the real one.

  4. Speaking of the moon…. in the Reader Request Question side story, Zander actually says he can’t see any face on the moon. Methinks he isn’t affected by the Cognative Distortion Field like everyone else. No explanation yet for “that thing” behind the moon though.

  5. Given that Bridget is unaware of her own “barcodes” I wonder if they only look like that to Lagenders. Black bars also appear whenever the fairies try to name a technological device or concept that doesn’t exist on Lagend yet.
