   I genuinely love Lady La D’Ucar here ^^ It took a while for her to win me over, but this casual phone conversation definitely did it.

   …Speaking of villains I love, I wonder what dear Rosaline has gotten up to vis-a-vis fighting, hiring, subverting, poisoning, sicking minions at, etc, etc, the pirates? If she hasn’t yet, I’m sure she’ll invoke some lovely shenanigans soon!

   You know, if I was more of an “asshole who wanted to steal someone talented’s work”, I’d take the last 3 panels of this strip, erase what Lady La D’Ucar is saying in first of those 3 panels, and try to turn this into an internet meme about people saying things they expect will get them killed in mob violence.

   I’m not that sort of asshole to use someone else’s work without permission, mind, but it’s a fun thought.
