On page #9 it is mentioned she went to the guardhouse and talked to the guards there.
In retrospect maybe I should have drawn the bit with the Nikol meeting the guards the first time. but that’s in the past now.
To be fair, they don’t have a carriage and horse of their own to chase after them in.
Well, you know, there’s only so much room in the budget for guards and their equipment after Rex’s ‘miscellaneous necessities.’
Interesting that the guards seem to have peace bonds on their swords. A welcome symbol of restraint, ill-missed by our own enforcers.
