Oooh, so the planets tech is being guided? Explains the impressive items in some places, and the low grade stuff in others…. Not entirely sure how I feel about it from a morality standpoint, but good sci-fi element all the same.
Oh I don’t think watching that tape could lead to any negative outcomes like, say, a death cult that wants to end all life by unleashing all the demons from hell. Also. I’m glad to see that of all the technological paths they chose to go down, 90s video cassette was one of them (and that’s the tech they kept for themselves). Eat your hearts out Reapers!
