By definition, God is perfect, and thus in all attributes it is the best option that describes them. One may easily observe the popularity of fiction in general and of many particular characters in specific; thus one may clearly see that fictional people are better than real people. (A discussion of the reasons why, while interesting, is outside the scope of this argument.) Therefore God cannot exist, for in existing they would be less than perfect and thus not God.
This argument may seem derivative, but a discerning reader will note that this version is logically valid; unlike unreal things, real things actually do have a restriction not to have contradictory properties.
