For a court that generally deals with underage adventurers… that’s a pretty effective punishment. No physical harm done, but everyone around will know of any trouble you ha e caused, and for adventures who rely a LOT on their reputation to get better jobs/pay, having a failed crime be what most people know you for could be far more effective punishment.
