I never thought about postal codes in the Latchkey universe. So the first five digits are the island, and the next indicate the town? Did the Cartographer’s guild set up this system? Do serious royalty figures get an island code to themselves? Do specific countries/islands have their own system? Why did I comment on a comic over five years old?
The Cartographer’s Guild certainly had a hand in the system but no serious government is going to hand over their internal mail to an unaccountable outside power.
